What We Collect
Your name, email address, and the medical records and documents you choose to upload.
How Your Files Are Handled
Uploaded files are not permanently stored. PDFs are briefly processed in memory and immediately deleted after analysis is complete. Images and text extracted from documents are never written to disk as standalone files.
What We Actually Store
The AI-generated analysis, extracted text from your documents, and your conversation history with the AI assistant are stored securely in our database. Your original uploaded files are not retained.
Third-Party Processing
Content you submit is processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate your analysis. Anthropic retains API inputs and outputs for up to 7 days for trust and safety purposes. This data is not used to train Anthropic's models. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy for details.
Who Can See Your Data
Your data is protected by user-level access controls - each case is tied to your account and other users cannot access your cases or records. We do not sell, share, or disclose your information to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
HIPAA Notice
AdvocateNow is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse and is not a covered entity under HIPAA. While HIPAA does not apply to AdvocateNow, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Storage and Security
Case data and analysis results are stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit via HTTPS. We do not store your payment information; all payments are processed directly by Stripe.
Your Rights
You may delete your case and all associated files at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion, email support@getadvocatenow.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Children
AdvocateNow is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
Changes
We may update this policy periodically and will notify users of material changes by email.
