What We Collect
Your name, email address, and the medical records and documents you choose to upload.
How Your Files Are Handled
Your original files are never permanently stored. When you upload a document, it is processed in memory on our server and sent directly to the Anthropic API to generate your analysis. PDFs are temporarily written to a secure system temp folder for processing (typically under 10 seconds) and immediately deleted afterward. The original file binary is never saved to any database.
What We Actually Store
The AI-generated analysis results and extracted text content from your uploaded files. Not the original files themselves.
Third-Party Processing
Your extracted text and records are processed by the Anthropic API to generate your analysis. Anthropic retains API data for up to 7 days for safety monitoring only, then it is deleted. AdvocateNow does not use your records to train AI models, and neither does Anthropic for API customers.
Who Can See Your Data
Only you can access your case. We do not sell, share, or disclose your information to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
HIPAA Notice
AdvocateNow is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse and is not a covered entity under HIPAA. While HIPAA does not apply to AdvocateNow, we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Storage and Security
Case data and analysis results are stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit via HTTPS. We do not store your payment information; all payments are processed directly by Stripe.
Your Rights
You may delete your case and all associated files at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion, email support@advocatenow.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Children
AdvocateNow is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
Changes
We may update this policy periodically and will notify users of material changes by email.
